Motek New York, part of Happy Corner Hospitality, is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee daily performance and ensure consistency across multiple locations. You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, set standards, and partner with senior leadership to drive growth.

The role requires strong financial acumen, logistics, and a hands-on leadership style to build a high-performing management bench, maintain compliance, and continually elevate guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in multi-unit or high-volume restaurant operations at director level.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred.
• Strong budgeting, P&L management, and cost control experience.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable across departments.
• Solid knowledge of health, safety, and labor compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with prioritization.
• Strong communicator with strategic mindset and hands-on leadership.
• Bilingual proficiency a plus.

Position Overview:

As Director of Operations, you will oversee the overall performance and day-to-day operations of each location, ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across front-of-house and back-of-house teams, drives operational excellence, and partners with senior leadership to support the long-term success and growth of the location.

• Oversee scheduling, payroll accuracy, and labor cost management on-site.
• Serve as a key point of communication between ownership, leadership, and on-site teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a multi-unit or high-volume restaurant operation as a Director of Operations or similar role; Mediterranean or hospitality group experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable across multiple departments.
