CarMax is hiring a Business Operations Associate at our White Marsh store to support sales, auctions, and appraisals. You will handle paperwork, data entry, and cash management while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately for compliance and reporting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems with intermediate PC skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and guiding them through paperwork processes.
• Process and audit paperwork for retail and wholesale sales, including deal jackets and contracts.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions with accurate titles and payoffs for funding.
• Handle cash management tasks, including deposits and security protocols.
• Train and mentor new associates and support store operations across departments.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and reconciliation of missing information.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
