Job summary

CarMax in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Business Operations Associate to serve as the backbone of store operations, ensuring accurate processing of sales, auctions, and appraisals. You will handle cash management, audit critical paperwork, and communicate clearly with customers and teams.

You'll work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, train new associates, and help balance workload across departments while maintaining CarMax's standards of transparency and integrity.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately for compliance and reporting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems with intermediate PC skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and guiding them through paperwork.
• Process and audit paperwork for retail and wholesale sales, including deal jackets and DMV documents.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions with accurate titles, payoffs, and funding documentation.
• Handle cash management tasks including deposits and security protocols.
• Train and mentor new associates and support store operations across departments.
