Job summary

Red Hat is seeking an OpenShift Technical Account Manager (TAM) to work remotely in the southeastern U.S. You will partner with a small set of strategic customers to provide technical and architectural guidance for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, manage major incidents, and align cloud strategies with customer goals.

The role emphasizes proactive, relationship-based support, collaboration with engineering and product teams, and clear communication in English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in support, development, engineering, IT, or a quality assurance organization.
• Experience with Platform-as-a-Service cloud solutions like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Expertise in enterprise cloud solutions like Platform-as-a-Service, containers, Kubernetes, cloud management, and IT automation.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey complex information in English.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise customers in implementing automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions.
• Learn new technologies quickly, including topics like container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, and microservices on container platforms.
• Develop relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and become an expert on a customer’s implementation by understanding their top business goals and priorities.
• Perform technical reviews and share knowledge to proactively identify and prevent issues.
• Collaborate with the engineering, research and development, product management, and technical support teams.
• Create customer engagement plans and keep the documentation on the customer’s environment updated.
