Job summary

Via is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily onsite operations in Rochester, MN, ensuring safe, reliable transit for riders and drivers. This role requires hands-on field work 4–5 days a week, real-time decisions on fleet and driver supply, and close collaboration with city partners and Via teams.

You will guide drivers, translate rider feedback into improvements, and use data to drive efficiency and service quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Operationally experienced with people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work.

Responsibilities

• Run the daily onsite operations of our service to provide safe, reliable transportation for riders.
• Make informed real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and issues.
• Guide and support drivers, build trust, address concerns, and ensure great service.
• Turn rider feedback into tangible improvements with internal teams for actionable changes.
• Use data to diagnose problems and implement solutions that improve efficiency and rider experience.
• Serve as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers, and Via central teams.
