Job summary

Via is seeking a Field Manager in Rochester, MN to lead daily on-site operations and ensure safe, reliable transportation for riders and drivers. You will be in the field 4–5 days a week, oversee fleet and driver supply, and collaborate with city partners to deliver great service.

You are hands-on, operationally experienced, and focused on building relationships with drivers and riders while turning feedback into actionable improvements using data-driven approaches.

Qualifications

• Operationally experienced with a background in people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented work.

Responsibilities

• Run daily on-site operations to ensure safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders and drivers.
• Make real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, and rider needs.
• Guide and support drivers, building relationships and addressing concerns.
• Turn rider and community feedback into tangible improvements with internal collaboration.
• Use data and technology to diagnose performance and implement efficiency improvements.
• Act as the bridge between city partners, drivers, and Via central teams.
