Job summary

Via is transforming transportation around the world. As an Associate General Manager on Via’s Operations team, you’ll manage the daily onsite operations with a team of local field operators, ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders while driving continuous operational and quality improvements.

This is a fully in-person role with the expectation of 4–5 days onsite per week, with occasional early mornings or evenings.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of operations management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent communicator with strong leadership.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment.
• Willing to relocate to Okaloosa County area.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily onsite operations to provide safe, reliable transport.
• Make real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, and rider needs.
• Oversee drivers' full employee lifecycle: scheduling, PTO, performance conversations.
• Schedule drivers to meet demand and vehicle availability.
• Serve as bridge with city partners, unions, community leaders.
• Use data to diagnose problems and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Lead and develop the driver team.
