Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, personalized advice, and connect clients with a broader team offering bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

The role emphasizes building local relationships, growing the client base, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador by growing the local client base and organizing events.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Build relationships with clients to turn one-time transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professional, empathetic service and clear tax guidance.
