Job summary

Intuit is seeking dedicated TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at TurboTax locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, expert advice, and software support while collaborating with a team of specialists to address complex client needs.

You’ll grow the local TurboTax client base, deliver a trusted, end-to-end experience, and expand your role into related services like bookkeeping and payroll.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA or Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, advisory) with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours/week; ability to adapt to peak seasons.
• Willing to complete required training and development; uniforms; name use for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating tax tips/content.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus; holistic tax advisory experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local client base and engage in grassroots marketing.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, planning) for year-round support.
• Build relationships and convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience through professional service and clear tax guidance.
