Intuit, Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States.

You will provide hands-on tax preparation, offer expert advice, and collaborate with a team of specialists across bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to deliver an end‑to‑end Intuit experience. You will grow the local client base, engage with the community, and help customers navigate complex tax scenarios while delivering a high‑quality customer experience both

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.Familiarity with Circular 230
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand, such as tax season
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development. Training requirements are subject to change based on business needs and the company reserves the right to introduce additional requirements at any time
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms. Must be willing to use your name, picture for advertising on goggle.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to actively grow a local client base for TurboTax, identifying prospects through outreach, grass‑roots marketing, referrals, and partnerships. Lead local events to build brand awareness and client loyalty with marketing support.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem by understanding clients’ complete financial picture and connecting them to Bookkeeping, Payroll, Financial Planning, or Credit Karma as appropriate.
• Build relationships with clients to convert one‑time transactions into long‑term engagements and repeat business.
• Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience with professional, empathetic service accessible via in‑person or video interactions; help clients reach financial goals.
