Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks an on-site TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax advice and preparation for clients, both in person and virtually.

You will collaborate with a team of specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver a seamless client experience. You will grow the local TurboTax client base, engage with the community through events, and leverage marketing tools to build lasting relationships while expanding your own practice within the

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador, building a local client base and engaging with community partnerships.
• Connect clients to the Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.
• Deliver an end-to-end client experience, ensuring accurate outcomes and year-round support.
