Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to prepare tax returns, deliver expert guidance, and support clients at a local TurboTax location.

You will collaborate with specialists to address personal and business tax needs, while growing your local client base. You will work onsite, serving both in-person and virtual customers, and contribute to a broader Intuit ecosystem including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid tax returns (30+) per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 20 hours/week minimum (8:00–17:00).
• Must complete required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and use name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, addressing simple to complex scenarios.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem offerings like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Build relationships to convert prospects into long-term clients.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience across in-person and virtual channels.
