Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax advice and full preparation services at TurboTax locations across the United States.

You will work closely with a team to serve in-person and virtual clients, expanding the local client base and connecting clients with the full Intuit ecosystem. Role emphasizes holistic advisory services, ongoing training, and a community-focused approach, with on-site hours typically 20+ per week and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 1040s (30+ returns/season) using professional software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00–17:00 local time.
• Commitment to training and compliance requirements.
• Willingness to wear Intuit uniforms and participate in advertising.
• Interest in building local and online social presence for TurboTax.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Deliver future tax planning advice and work with a team to optimize client outcomes.
• Grow the local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients to additional Intuit services such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Ensure excellent client experience across in-person and video interactions.
