Intuit, Inc. seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to perform on-site tax preparation and advisory work at a local TurboTax location, serving in-person and virtual clients and guiding them through complex and simple tax matters.

You will collaborate with a team of tax professionals, grow the local client base through community outreach, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem for year‑round support.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office 8:00–17:00 local time, at least 20 hours/week; peak seasons may scale up.
• Must complete required training and compliance, and accept uniforms and use of name/photo for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare returns for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex situations.
• Grow the local TurboTax client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning).
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via Intuit tools.
• Collaborate with a team of tax professionals to deliver end-to-end service.
