Job summary

Intuit, Inc. in California seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to provide hands-on tax preparation and advisory services at a local TurboTax location.

You will work with clients in person and virtually, delivering end-to-end support for personal and small-business tax needs. You’ll collaborate with a broader tax team to ensure accurate filings, optimize deductions, and connect clients to related Intuit services like bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning, while growing your local client

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid prep experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per tax season with professional software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training.
• Onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex scenarios.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize refunds and future planning.
• Collaborate with business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Grow the local client base through outreach, events, and partnerships.
