Job summary

Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service team in California and other locations. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, offer expert tax advice, and work onsite with a collaborative team to deliver end-to-end TurboTax experiences.

As a Local Service Expert, you will grow the local client base, build relationships, and connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning services.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Grow local client base and community presence through outreach and events.
• Coordinate with a broader team of specialists covering bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Work onsite at a TurboTax location with regular hours and training requirements.
