Job summary

Intuit in California is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide on-site tax preparation and personalized advice, serving both in-person and virtual clients, and collaborating with a team of specialists. You will play a key role in growing the local TurboTax client base and delivering end-to-end service to help customers achieve their financial goals.

You will work 20+ hours weekly, primarily onsite, with cross-functional support and marketing resources to build lasting relationships

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, advisory areas with training.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00, 20 hrs/week.
• Willing to complete required training and compliance programs.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow a local client base with outreach and events.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.
• Build long-term client relationships and deliver a seamless end-to-end experience.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professionalism and clear guidance.
