Intuit seeks a TurboTax Local Service Expert to deliver hands-on tax preparation and advisory services at a TurboTax location in California. You will engage with clients in-person and virtually, grow the local client base, and collaborate with specialists for comprehensive financial solutions.

You will build relationships, offer ongoing support, and participate in marketing efforts to expand Intuit’s presence in the community. This role requires onsite work and a customer‑first mindset.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 20+ hours/week, 8:00–17:00 hours.
• Willing to complete training and development as required by the business.
• Must be willing to wear company uniforms and be used in advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Assist with tax planning and advisory services and connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions.
• Build local client base and relationships through outreach and community engagement.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience in-person and via video tools.
