Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, phones, and network issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred).
• MCSE, MCTS, CNA, Avaya telephony certification or ITIL certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, repair, and upgrade laptops, desktops, phones, printers, scanners and peripherals in an office and manufacturing environment.
• Support higher level IT with server hardware, operating systems, network infrastructure, and telephony through hands-on troubleshooting with customers.
• Document issues, root cause analysis, and attempted troubleshooting steps prior to closing or escalating service requests.
• Assist in implementing business systems and manufacturing initiatives, delivering configurations and end-user desktop support.
• Perform system upgrades and migrations; follow IT policies and asset management procedures.
• Be available for Tier 1 queue when necessary and travel between facilities if needed.
