Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Systems Support Specialist II in Berlin, WI to provide desktop, printer, phone and peripheral support onsite. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documentation and escalation to higher tier staff in a manufacturing and office environment.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in computer science or equivalent, 2 years of experience with Windows, AD, Exchange, and ITIL practices. A bachelor’s degree and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2 years of experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, phones and network issues.
Bachelor’s degree preferred and IT certifications listed above.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support by installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading laptops, desktops, phones, printers and peripherals.
Support higher level specialists with server hardware, OS, network infrastructure and telephony via troubleshooting with customers.
Document issues, root cause analysis and steps taken; escalate when needed.
Assist in implementing business systems and manufacturing initiatives with end-user desktop support.
Perform system upgrades and migrations; follow standards for reporting, monitoring and troubleshooting.
