Generac Power Systems Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Systems Support Specialist II to provide hands-on desktop, printer, and network support, assisting with server hardware and telephony, and guiding end users through issues in a manufacturing and office environment.

The role requires an associate degree and 2 years of experience; preferred bachelor’s in CS and relevant IT certifications. On-site at Berlin, WI, you’ll work with IT peers to resolve incidents, document resolutions, and improve system

Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2 years of experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, phones and network issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
MCSE, MCTS, CNA, Avaya telephony or ITIL certifications are desirable.

Responsabilités

Provide hands-on support by installing, diagnosing, repairing and upgrading laptops, desktops, phones, printers and peripherals.
Support local server hardware, operating systems, network infrastructure and telephony.
Document resolutions, perform root-cause analysis and escalate as needed to reduce downtime.
Assist in implementing business systems and manufacturing initiatives with end-user support.
Follow standards for reporting, monitoring and troubleshooting; participate in Tier 1 queue.
Maintain asset inventory and ensure configurations comply with IT policies.
