Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, phone and network issues.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Certifications: MCSE, MCTS, CNA, Avaya, or ITIL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands on support by installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading laptops, desktops, phones, printers, bar code scanners and peripherals.
• Support higher level specialists with server hardware, operating systems, network infrastructure and telephony.
• Triage, document and close issues; escalate to reduce downtime.
• Create documentation on issues resolved and root cause analysis.
• Assist in implementing business systems and manufacturing initiatives.
• Perform system upgrades and help migrate users to new applications.
• Participate in Tier 1 call/ticket queue and maintain asset inventories.
