Job summary

Edwards Vacuum in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an On-site Service Engineer Team Lead to supervise semi-routine preventive maintenance of Edwards products, following defined schedules and procedures.

You will direct daily operations, train site personnel, and coordinate with senior engineers, delivering 7x24 escalation support and maintaining accurate maintenance records while upholding Edwards' safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• AS degree or 4+ years of related technical experience (full military equivalent may substitute for AS with HR and supervisory approval).
• 5 years related industry experience including training and competencies profiles defined within the training plan and understanding of the product.
• Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs team daily operational activities and serves as single point of contact for Installation Qualification issues.
• Establishes and audits local operating procedures for training Edwards and customer personnel.
• Performs special projects at customer site under supervision from senior experts or project management.
• Maintains records of repairs and maintenance using local database; develops preventive maintenance schedules for optimum performance.
• Assists with failure analysis by providing failure mode information.
• Submits information to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
