Job summary

Edwards Vacuum in San Jose, CA is seeking an On-site Service Engineer Team Lead to supervise semi-routine preventative maintenance of our semiconductor equipment. You will direct a field team, ensure adherence to defined schedules, and escalate complex issues as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining service records, performing failure analyses, coordinating with Edwards and customers, and producing regular activity reports.

Qualifications

• AS degree or equivalent in relevant technical field or 4+ years' related technical experience.
• 5 years related industry experience including training and competencies defined in the training plan.

Responsibilities

• Directs team daily operational activities while serving as single contact for installation qualification issues.
• Establishes and audits local procedures; trains Edwards and customer personnel.
• Performs special projects at customer sites under supervision from seniors or PM.
• Maintains records of repairs and maintenance; develops preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assists with failure analysis and information exchange with Edwards technical dept.
• Writes weekly/monthly activity reports per customer and regional requirements.
• Provides 7x24 escalation support with Site Lead and Site Manager.
