Job summary

Edwards Vacuum seeks a Facilities Coordinator for its Hillsboro, OR site to help ensure safe, reliable operation of building systems and grounds. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, manage multiple service providers, and support infrastructure upgrades, while delivering strong internal customer service.

The role requires solid technical grounding in industrial facilities, excellent organization, and the ability to coordinate complex maintenance and vendor activity at scale.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in industrial facilities maintenance environments.
• Experience coordinating contractors and service providers.
• Experience supporting preventive maintenance programs and facility infrastructure systems.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and utilities.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.
• OSHA or safety-related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for facility infrastructure and building systems.
• Assist in maintaining facility uptime through planning, scheduling, and follow-up of maintenance activities.
• Monitor the condition and performance of buildings, grounds, and critical utility systems.
• Coordinate facility inspections and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
• Support facility improvement projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Evaluate vendor performance and recommend improvements when needed.
