Job summary

Edwards Vacuum in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an On-site Service Engineer Team Lead to supervise semi-routine preventative maintenance of critical equipment according to defined schedules and procedures.

You will direct daily operations, provide a single point of contact for customers on IQ-related issues, and contribute to training, problem analysis, and continuous improvement with 7x24 escalation support.

Qualifications

• AS degree or 4+ years' related technical experience (military equivalent may substitute).
• 5 years related industry experience including training and competencies in the current position.
• Knowledge Areas/Skills: Electronic, mechanical, chemical, or gas in the Semiconductor industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs team daily operational activities and serves as the single point of contact for customers on IQ-related issues.
• Establishes/audits local operating procedures to train Edwards and customer personnel.
• Performs special projects at customer sites under supervision from senior technical experts or project management.
• Maintains records of repairs and maintenance; develops a preventive maintenance schedule for optimal performance.
• Assists with failure analysis by providing failure mode information for equipment.
• Submits information to Edwards technical department to drive equipment improvements.
• Writes weekly/monthly activity reports for customer site activities.
