Intuit is hiring TurboTax Retail Experts to work onsite at retail or flagship locations across the United States. You will provide full-service tax return preparation, tax advice, and software support to customers in person, helping them maximize refunds and plan for future taxes.

The role emphasizes community engagement, local marketing, and building a loyal client base while representing TurboTax as a trusted local advisor.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience and knowledge of tax law.
• Active PTIN as required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax location, Sunday–Saturday, for at least 20 hours/week.
• Willing to build local/community presence as a TurboTax Expert and create tax-related content.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax preparation and tax advice for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex situations.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and plan for future taxes.
• Use government sites, tools, and team knowledge to deliver accurate tax solutions in plain language.
• Deliver exceptional customer experience and help build long-term client relationships.
• Engage in local marketing initiatives and support community presence as a TurboTax Expert.
