Job summary

Intuit seeks motivated TurboTax Retail Experts to join our on-site teams at Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. This role blends tax expertise with community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs.

You will prepare tax returns, provide tax advice, and assist customers in-person using TurboTax products. You’ll grow the local client base and foster long-term relationships to support Intuit’s mission of prosperity in communities.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Must possess or obtain related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content and resources for your community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.
• Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform.
• Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and prepare returns for TurboTax customers.
• Identify deductions and optimize tax outcomes for individuals and small businesses.
• Conduct discovery sessions and tailor tax planning advice.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly, retail environment.
• Support local marketing efforts and build client relationships in the community.
• Use government resources and team knowledge to ensure accurate results.
