Essex Property Trust, Inc. seeks a Community Relations Representative to be the primary in-person contact for residents at an assigned California office.

You will manage communications, support move-in/move-out processes, and uphold exceptional customer service. You will use CRM to respond to inquiries, coordinate resident events, maintain knowledge of the community portfolio, and collaborate with the Community Management Team to meet satisfaction targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; able to work independently and with a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or property management software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-person contact for residents; manage inquiries via CRM.
• Coordinate seamless move-in and move-out processes and paperwork.
• Address resident questions promptly, in-person or virtually, by appointment or drop-in.
• Support community operations and meet customer satisfaction targets with the team.
