Job summary

Essex Property Trust in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Community Relations Representative to serve as the primary in-person contact for residents, ensuring a welcoming experience throughout the move-in lifecycle.

You will manage all communications via the CRM, coordinate move-in/out paperwork, and collaborate with the Community Management Team to maintain high resident satisfaction across the portfolio while adhering to company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with property management or CRM software.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-person contact for residents.
• Manage all communications via the CRM system.
• Facilitate move-in and move-out processes and paperwork.
• Address resident questions in person and virtually.
• Assist in organizing resident events across the portfolio.
• Maintain knowledge of the community portfolio and operations.
• Collaborate with the Community Management Team to support operations and satisfaction targets.
• Ensure compliance with laws such as Fair Housing and OSHA.
