Job summary

Essex Property Trust is seeking a Community Relations Representative in Foster City, CA. The role focuses on delivering exceptional resident experiences, serving as the main in-person contact, and managing communications and move-in/out processes.

You will interact with residents daily, using CRM and MS Office tools, and support events and portfolio operations while maintaining compliance with housing and safety regulations. This is an on-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Must work on-site five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-person contact for residents.
• Manage all communications and inquiries via the CRM system.
• Facilitate move-in and move-out paperwork and in-person ID checks.
• Address resident questions promptly, in person or virtually as needed.
• Organize and participate in resident events as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of the community portfolio and operations.
• Support community management to meet customer satisfaction targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
