Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the property's buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders and preventive maintenance, make-ready inspections, vendor coordination, safety compliance, and documentation. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license are required; on-call evenings and weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required for certified technicians.
• State and local certifications as required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Perform make-ready tasks and inspections for vacant apartments before leasing.
• Track materials, inventory, and coordinate with vendors/contractors as needed.
• Complete documentation promptly for service requests and inspections.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; assist with painting and cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-control efforts by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
