Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities on-site in a stabilized property. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, documenting tasks, coordinating with vendors, and assisting with general cleaning and safety compliance. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks on residential properties.
• Familiarity with making repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read work orders and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Track inventory and coordinate with vendors for materials as needed.
• Document work performed for proper record-keeping.
• Assist in grounds and common area upkeep and basic painting or cleaning as needed.
• Support cost-control by using parts wisely and avoiding waste.
