Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds and amenities on site. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs and follow safety and code requirements while supporting make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

The role includes completing work orders, inventory management, basic painting and cleaning, and collaborating with vendors. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required, with comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant handling certifications required (Type 1/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license required to operate golf cart on property if applicable.
• Safety training per OSHA and company policies is expected.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Finish the make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and punch lists.
• Access and document materials, tools, and supplies; notify supervisors for reorders.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Assist in cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
• Assist in periodic property inspections and report safety concerns.
