Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring property buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing issues, making-ready vacant units, maintaining inventory, documenting requests, and assisting in safety and inspections. HVAC certifications and EPA refrigerant credentials are desirable; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience/training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant certifications may be required.
• Proactive and self-motivated with ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and codes.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-in inspections, punch list, scheduling, and inspections.
• Track materials and inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately and timely for proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost control by fixing parts where possible and using tools efficiently.
• Attend safety meetings and follow OSHA and safety policies; report accidents promptly.
• Periodically inspect contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Assist in property inspections to identify safety concerns and property needs.
