Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety, cleanliness, and functional standards. The role involves completing work orders, preventive maintenance, and assisting in the make-ready process for vacant units.

Responsibilities include documenting work, managing inventory, and coordinating with vendors. The position requires OSHA awareness, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver's license for property access

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks across building systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair basic equipment and systems.
• Familiarity with safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventive maintenance on the property.
• Makes-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and punch lists.
• Tracks inventory, procures supplies, and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Performs general cleaning, painting, and upkeep of grounds and common areas as required.
• Supports cost-control by repairing components rather than replacing when feasible.
