Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and completing work orders, as well as coordinating with vendors and supervising preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include make-ready tasks for vacant units, inventory management, general cleaning, painting, and assisting in safety compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
May be required to hold various certifications (e.g. HVAC) and licenses.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory; notifies re-order needs.
Documents work performed to keep service requests properly documented and tracked.
Maintains grounds and common areas, performs cleaning and painting as needed.
Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts instead of replacing when possible.
Complies with safety policies and attends safety trainings.
May inspect contractor work and ensure quality against standards.
Performs routine property inspections and communicates needs to management.
