Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, make-ready vacant units, manage materials, and help maintain grounds and facilities.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license for on-site operations, with potential for call duties evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Commitment to safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance to meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards.
• Finish the "make-ready" process for vacant units including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Accesses and tracks materials and tools from maintenance, restocking as needed and notifying supervisor on re-orders.
• Completes timely, accurate service documentation for work orders and inspections.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as required.
• Supports cost-control by repairing components rather than replacing parts when feasible.
