Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete preventative maintenance while coordinating make-ready tasks for vacant units.

You will monitor inventory, document work orders, and support groundskeeping, painting, and cleaning as needed. A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of maintenance experience are required; HVAC/EPA certifications may be

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade.
• HVAC certifications and licenses may be required.
• EPA refrigerant certifications Type I/II or Universal are required for technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and amenities per safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and coordinating work with vendors.
• Manage materials inventory, track usage, and notify supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist in groundskeeping and maintenance of common areas, including cleaning and painting tasks.
