Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain and repair building systems and perform make-ready tasks for vacant units. The role requires diagnosing defects, following safety guidelines, and ensuring the property meets Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and function.

You will manage maintenance workflows, assist with grounds and amenities, and document work orders for accurate reporting. The position includes EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for on-site

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recovery certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property.
• All state and local certification requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the source of defects and perform repairs in accordance with safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track materials, equipment, and tools from the maintenance department and reorder as needed.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for tracking.
• Assist in grounds and amenity upkeep, including cleaning and basic painting as needed.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Driver's license

State / Local certifications as required
