Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to service and maintain apartment communities. The role involves completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and managing make-ready tasks for vacant units.

You will inspect and repair building systems, coordinate materials, and ensure safety and quality standards across the property. The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications (Type I/II or Universal), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type I and II or Universal.
• State/local certification requirements met.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and resident requests, diagnosing defects and making repairs per safety and code standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant units for leasing, including inspections and punch lists.
• Obtains needed materials and tracks supplies; coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, amenities, and common areas through cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
