Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet safety and appearance standards. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Responsibilities include inventory control, documentation, and upkeep of exterior spaces. Applicants should hold EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on property.
• All required state/local licenses.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Finish the “make-ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections and punch lists, coordinating vendors as needed.
• Obtain materials from the maintenance department, track inventory, return unused items, and notify on re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately to ensure proper recording and tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, clean, pressure wash breezeways and pool areas, and paint curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing and avoiding waste.
