Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of buildings meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, managing inventories, and assisting in grounds maintenance. EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license are required; travel may be occasional. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance on the property by diagnosing issues and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Performs make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by conducting pre-move-out inspections, creating a punch list, and coordinating vendors as needed.
• Follows procedures to access materials and logs inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to accurately document and track service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
