Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building exteriors, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks, and maintain documentation.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, OSHA safety training, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers robust benefits and may include bonus programs.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1/II or Universal) required.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and repair according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes, including pre-move‑out inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory and notify when re-ordering is needed; use tools and equipment correctly.
• Document service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; perform cleaning and painting as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and related safety rules.
