Job summary

Greystar is seeking an On-site Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities to company standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and prepare vacant units for leasing, coordinating with vendors as needed.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility for state/local licenses. The position includes safety training and on-site responsibilities across properties.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.
• State/local licensing as required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and amenities per policy and safety codes.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant homes and manage pre-move-in inspections.
• Manage materials, inventory, and supplier coordination with maintenance supervisor.
• Document work orders accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist in grounds maintenance, cleaning, painting, and debris removal as needed.
• Support cost-saving measures by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
