Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building exteriors, grounds, and common areas. Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety and code compliance across the property.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate on-site tools and equipment. Onsite work schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and codes.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing by conducting pre-move-out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are done.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from the maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests to enable proper tracking.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities, including trash pick-up, pressure washing, cleaning, painting curbs and signage.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
