Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will perform regular maintenance, make‑ready tasks, and coordinate with vendors to prepare vacant units for leasing.

The role requires certification in EPA refrigerant handling, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with state/local requirements. This is an on‑site position with competitive benefits and scheduling that includes on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property where applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required for all Service Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Perform make‑ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track materials and inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisor about re‑orders.

Education

EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling

Valid driver’s license

State and local certifications as required
