Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Essential duties include completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, coordinating with vendors, maintaining documentation, and supporting cost-control programs.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (applies to Certified Service Technicians)
• All state and local certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins, including pre-move-out inspection and punch list creation
• Obtains materials and coordinates with vendors/contractors, tracks inventory and re-orders as needed
• Completes documentation for service requests to ensure proper tracking
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed
• Supports cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools correctly
• Attends safety meetings and follows OSHA-related requirements
• May inspect work performed by contractors to ensure quality standards
