Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, make-ready inspections, inventory management, documentation, and assisting in cost-control while complying with safety and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recycling certifications (Type 1 & 2 or Universal) required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and perform repairs on property systems following safety and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory, access materials, return unused items, and notify supervisor for re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately and timely.
• Maintain grounds and amenities and perform cleaning/painting as needed.
• Support cost-containment by using parts instead of replacements when possible.

Education

EPA Type 1 & 2 or Universal refrigerant certification

State and local jurisdiction certifications
