Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, complete work orders, and ensure the physical aspects of the property meet safety and quality standards. The role covers make-ready tasks, inventory management, and on-site repairs across common areas and amenities.

You will document service requests, assist in grounds maintenance, and support cost-control efforts by fixing components when possible.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on property where applicable.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 pounds (50 with assistance).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance following safety standards and code requirements.
• Executes make-ready tasks for vacant apartments, schedules vendors, and completes inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials from maintenance department, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, performs general cleaning, and supports cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts where feasible.
• Assists in inspections to ensure quality and compliance across contractors and service providers.
